A time for counting blessings

Here in NZ we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, which I think is in many ways sad as it means we have to some degree never built that attitude of thankfulness into our national psyche or even in many cases into our personal lives. Yet this time of year is a time when we can stop and count the blessings in our lives as we remember the greatest thing we have to be thankful for – the birth, death and resurrection of Christ.

What a glorious gift that is to us all; a gift that keeps on giving to us every single day of our lives. But not only does that gift keep giving to us but through us the gift of Christ gets to be shared daily with those we come into contact with. Let’s each of us purpose to give that greatest of all gifts, the love of God away to everyone we meet this Christmas.

Here at Extreme Prophetic we have so many things to be thankful for – the precious people we have got to share the love of God with this year, the wonderful people who partner with us in so many ways from prayer to financially, the health we have, the fun in doing God’s will and seeing him touch and transform lives and of course the joy of knowing and growing in His love ourselves.

Our prayer as we end this year is that you will know more and more of the fullness of God’s love and that your New Year will be filled with the goodness of God being poured out on you and through you to others. God bless you, your families and your ministries over this Christmas and New Year. We look forward to serving with you in the harvest next year with increasing joy, freedom, love and power
