1st Glory School Day 1

We are in a sensitive situation in a nation ministering to the church there, so no names will be used in this report.

Wow! What a start to the Glory School here in ….. God turned up big time. Many of the things that happened today had never seen before by the people here.

The Holy Spirit showed up powerfully in the session on Him and spontaneous healings broke out. We never even prayed for the people, we just declared what God said He was doing and people came up and testified. About half a dozen were healed of things – pain in shoulder, necks, backs – one of the translators was totally healed of dysentery as she saw a vision of Jesus touch her stomach. The same woman saw about four visions today. She was blown away.

A lady was healed of long term depression. Many were baptized in the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues. Many were slain in the Spirit, which has never happened here before. Some got Holy Ghost laughter and some cried and were healed and set free of things. So much happened and it is just day 1.

Day 2

There were 2 salvations today! One lady, a non Christian, came to see her friend who was at the school and stayed for a bit, unnoticed by the people running the school. Rob shared the testimony of the deaf people being healed on Saturday in Hong Kong and the lady spontaneously rushed to the front and asked to be prayed for, as she had been deaf in her left ear for over 20 years. We prayed for her and not only was she totally healed, she was saved, too. Everyone there was amazed at what God did.

Then, later, I shared a testimony of a cell phone being used and someone being healed as they were prayed for over it. One lady felt to go and call her father straightaway and tell him the testimony. She asked if the school leaders could pray for his bad headache. One of the school leaders prayed for him over the phone and he was totally healed. She then led her father to the Lord over the phone. Two salvations and two healings today – Yaaay! Go God!!!!

We also did the Bible character activation and the angel activation and many of them saw angels and got revelation on why they were there. It was amazing.

We have just finished our time in Hong Kong and moved on to visit our friends in China. In Hong Kong we ministered to local leaders and a local church as well as doing a two day Kingdom Glory conference. What a time we had there as the Holy Spirit ministered powerfully, On the Saturday night there was a freedom right from the beginning of worship as people full on worshipped. I felt God say there was someone with some deafness in their left ear during the worship but I felt it wasn’t the right time to step out on it so I waited for the right time to step out in it.

We sang about the fire of God and felt to release it over people, the power of God hit them and they shook and fell down and felt the fire. Then I asked for the deaf person and three people responded – all were completely healed. Then Rob felt there were people with lower back pain and some responded and again God healed them then we declared that spontaneous healings were happening and that God had healed people as they stood there and asked people to check out their bodies and quite a few people came forward and testified that God had healed them.

Then the atmosphere in the room changed and I felt to move into releasing the revelatory realms and asked people to close their eyes and God gave many people visions – some were absolutely life changing. Here is the testimony of one of them.

A young man shared through an interpreter that he had never seen a vision before and God showed him thousands of angels then he saw God touch him on the heart and he felt healing happen in his heart and things melt away that had held him in bondage and then God gave him a love for his stepfather that he had never had before and he went straight away and found his stepfather in the meeting and embraced him for the first time (this just does not happen in their culture a public display of affection so God spoke to many through it). He said he felt for the first time in his life that he now had a father and God showed him others things too. People saw heavenly places and some saw Jesus or the Father. One young woman felt God give her identity in him and heard the Father and Jesus and the Holy Spirit declaring things over her life that would be established in her life. Some saw chariots and angels.

So much happened I can’t remember it all. It was a night of glorious Holy spirit ordered divine revelation power and demonstration of who God was and is.

Sunday @ Glorify Grace Church

Rob spoke powerfully in the morning on ‘Learning to live from the heavenly realm’ from the verse – let help come from the sanctuary and support from Zion. Many of the people there saw visions and then came up and publicly shared what they had seen; one young man saw a vision of himself as a train on a circular track going nowhere then suddenly a new track opened up and he went zooming fast down it and it led up into heaven into a rainbow and then when he looked back he saw that his train was full of people and that he had taken others with him into that realm. God was showing him that his life was taking a new turn and that he would lead others to experience the heavenly realms too.

Then we did a prophetic presbytery in the afternoon prophesying for two hours solid over people, and the power of God coming and touching them and confirming His words over them.

It was a powerful time and God released his power in ways that had never been experienced before by most of them.

Worship – it’s not an event – it’s a journey that takes you into the heart of God and the centre of his will – if you let it. At Xtravagant Worship on Saturday night we had an amazing time of journeying with the Holy Spirit into the heart of God as Holy Spirit highlighted and ministered to us all the ‘goodness’ of God. So many people got ministered to by his goodness on Saturday night it was amazing. People were set free from bondages, received physical healing, felt physical manifestations of his love, and even felt supernatural wind blowing around them.

As we prepared for the night one of the musicians told us of a vision she had earlier where she stood face to face with Jesus and looked into his eyes. She said it was amazing to look deep into those eyes of love and as she did she felt she was searching for something. Jesus then spoke and said to her something like this(I can’t remember the exact words sorry) “Look as deep as you like, you won’t find any evil in me.” Unconsciously she had been looking to see if God was really good.

How often do we struggle with that. Is God really as good as he makes himself out to be, can I really trust him, is He really Love? I believe this is something we all have to come to grips with in this season; the Word says in Jer 33:9 that people will see the goodness of God and fear (be in awe of)Him. The fear of the Lord is associated with His goodness in this verse. The world longs to see the goodness of God as much as we do. But so often we try to get people to fear the Lord before showing them His goodness. It’s the wrong way around. Show them His goodness and they will stand in awe of Him. How often in your own life has the goodness of God moved you to awe? I would think it has many, many  times.

Why must we grasp this? Because I believe the move of God in this nation that He is releasing while having accompanying signs and wonders and miracles galore will be all about His goodness and His love. That is why we are seeing so many people getting a revelation of the Father at the moment. We must know He is good and wants to be good in our lives so we can minister His goodness to the people we come in contact with. Why don’t you ask God for a new revelation of His goodness to come into your life. Maybe do some study and check out how many times the Bible talks about the goodness of God. Pray and ask Him – God show me your goodness that I might have a right fear of you. Then let the testimony of His goodness become the prophecy of Jesus to those around you.

Don’t you love the little serendipitous moments that come and cause you to look at something familiar from a new angle? I was set to wondering a few days ago, as I read an article which talked about people not letting go of the past. In it there was one little paragraph that set me thinking. Just as the past can rob me of my present and future if I don’t let go of it and move on, can my future sabotage my present?

How much have I missed of what God wanted to do in my present because I was so focused on the future? What have I missed out on in present relationships? What ‘now’ acts of the Lord in my life have I missed, what ‘now’ moments of His presence and power?

Can the precious gift from the Lord of a prophetic word about our future actually be used to rob us of our present? How and why would that happen and if it happens who is at fault? Is it me, or is it the devil, robbing me? If it is possible, then how do I treat a prophetic word? Do I throw away my future because I don’t want it to rob me of my present? Maybe we should just live for the ‘here’ and ‘now’? So many questions to ponder on and all leading to discoveries about my life and opening up a dialogue between God and me; I suspect they will do the same for you if you allow them to.

Let’s look at some ways our future can potentially sabotage our present if we let it.

When it is so big it seems impossible

One way our future can sabotage our present is when it is so big that it seems impossible, so we shut down and do nothing because we think we can never achieve its reality.

Sometimes things can seem so big in our minds they immobilse us because we don’t know where to start. Sometimes it’s because we don’t see ourselves as God sees us. We look at our present state and think – “I’ll never be able to do that” or something similar. The devil hurls at us accusation and intimidation that we allow to take root in our mind. If we do that we will become immobilised and will walk our life from a place of unbelief instead of faith.

When that happens we will begin to speak from that perspective and reinforce those beliefs again by what we then say over our lives. Thus a vicious cycle establishes itself and we go into self destruct mode and both our present and future are sabotaged.

What we need to do is ask God – what one step can I take toward this today, break it down into small steps and take the first one, combine it with some of the other things in this article and you’ll be well on your way toward it. Im not going to say make a ten year plan and stick to it, sometimes even making a plan can seem too big but you can take one step, so take that one step and then the next and before you know it passion will rise within you empowering you to begin to plan.

God will make it happen, I don’t need to do anything.

This is a false belief and is I believe a lie that has robbed many children of God, sabotaging their present and stopping them from fulfilling their destiny. Yet at the same time we cannot fulfill the prophetic words in our own strength – we must be aware of and follow God’s timing and preparation strategy.

If we put off any strategic working with God toward our future we will obstruct God’s present working in our lives as well. God has things to do in our personal life now to make us and shape us so we will be the person that will see our future present 100 fold fruit to Him.

We need to realise that when God speaks a prophetic word over us it is because God sees and speaks from our possible future into our present.

Prophetic words speak to our potential. They are not a ‘fait accompli’; they are dependent on us working with God to become that person and fulfil that destiny. Some people go their whole life waiting for their prophetic words to come to pass. They mistakenly believe that it will automatically happen, that they don’t have to do anything but sit back and wait for it to be handed to them in it’s fullness.

We must ask God to reveal to us His preparation strategy. We must allow Him to work in our lives transforming us and making us into the image of Jesus. What character issues aren’t you dealing with now because you think ‘it doesn’t really matter, I have plenty of time to deal with that once I get my vision/ministry established’? What character issues do you need to work on now to prepare you so you will stand firm later on when the pressure comes.

What skills do you need to learn? What training do you need to get? Be intentional, be strategic; get your strategy and timing from God and make a start toward it.

Becoming future oriented.

Your perceived or believed future can sometimes stop you from doing what God has called you to do in ministry now.

So how does that play out? What people are you missing sharing and praying with now because you are so busy looking to the future when the ‘anointing’ will come on you and God will release you into ministry? How many times do we walk past someone who is in obvious need because we are waiting for God to ‘anoint us with visible felt power’ when we should be stepping out in faith on his already revealed Word to us in scripture.

This happened in the 70’s when huge emphasis was placed on end times and the fact that Jesus was coming soon and we were going to be raptured so why should I train for anything, why should I bring a child into the world if we are leaving, why do this or that when it was going to be for nothing. For those people their future sabotaged their present big time.

Another example – if I’m going to be a full time evangelist why should I go to university and spend thousands of dollars getting a degree I’ll never use? There is some valid argument in that but also there is the other side – if God is calling you to go to university or train in any other way now, as a part of your preparation, then don’t think your partial vision is the whole picture. God will make use of what you learn, during this season, in your future. He never wastes a thing we go through, He uses everything.

When vision comes before values.

If future vision is placed before values you will sabotage your present. Vision is absolutely necessary otherwise we will wander aimlessly through life but if vision becomes our driving force we will sacrifice values to get the vision fulfilled. When we do that we sacrifice relationship, character and so many other things all in the name of the future vision.

Decide what are the non-negotiable values you will build your life and on and decide that vision must play second fiddle to those. Things like honour, integrity, faithfulness, love, patience, kindness, truth, love for the Word, love for worship, etc. If these aren’t non-negotiable then we will end up using people to fulfill our vision, discarding and dishonoring people because they don’t fit in our vision or believe what we do, etc. For example vision should never be placed above relationships, ie. the man who works or ministers 70hrs a week and whose family falls apart because he never had time for them. What relationships are you turning your back on now because those people don’t fit your vision of what you will become?

Build a framework for your life with values; these are the foundation all else will be built on. Write them down, list them and read the list over often, speak them over your life and live them.

These are just some of the ways our prophetic future can sabotage our present. I’m sure you will be able to think of others as well.

Stocktake

It’s always good every now and then to do a spiritual stocktake. Ask the Lord to show you if there are ways that your future is threatening to sabotage your present. Then ask Him to help you reassess and repent, get back to a right perspective and a values founded life based on God’s Word, character and heart and for the Lord to help you rightly live in the present so your future will be all it can be. Your future will be the glorious future God says He has for you if you allow the present to be all God wants it to be too.

Don’t lose sight of the present as you look to the future but allow God to bring your future into your present by the things you allow Him to do in your life now. That’s what a prophetic word is for, it is not necessarily meant to be some way out there, years down the track, maybe if I’m lucky sort of thing. It’s God speaking into your life saying “This is what I have for you, bring it into your now by co-operating with me in your thought life, speech and actions, allowing me to work in your life and make you the person this future can happen to now. Get my timing and my strategy and lets walk into tomorrow, today”. Then instead of your future sabotaging your present it will help determine your present.

I have alway loved fairy tales as I believe they are rich with hidden insights into God’s love and plans for us – Hansel & Gretel – how even little children can overcome the witch… and so many more. I believe in many cases they are earthly shadows of the real story of a Prince and His Bride and the kingdom he reigns over. I was reading this article on the Elijah List this morning and thought I’d include a part of it for you. If you want to read the rest of it go to http://www.elijahlist.com/words/display_word/7946

“God is Looking For You – You Are the Perfect Fit For His Plan” - Victoria Boyson

I will put in the desert the cedar and the acacia, the myrtle and the olive. I will set pines in the wasteland, the fir and the cypress together, so that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.—Isaiah 41:19-20

God is looking for a desert, so He can create a forest. Do you feel like a barren desert? If there seem to be 100 reasons why God would never use you, then rejoice, because those are the 100 reasons why He will use you. When God is looking for someone to change the world, He looks for the most unlikely candidate. He has to use someone, why not you!

When God began looking for someone in whom He could build a great nation, He saw Sarah (see Genesis 17:16). Wait a minute! Sarah was old and barren; she’d had no children. How could God build a nation from such as she? It was impossible, right? BUT God looks at the impossible and sees a promise. Why did God select Sarah? It was her barrenness that drew Him to her. It was the impossibility of her situation that made her the perfect candidate for a miracle.

Are you living with an impossible situation? If you are, then rejoice, because you are a perfect candidate for a miracle from God. It is your need that has drawn Him to you. If God sees a mighty nation in your belly, then believe Him. He is able to perform it.

God Wants to Do More for You

One of my favorite stories is the story of Cinderella. This story represents to me the heart of God. Cinderella lived with a stepmother who despised her, and her greatest dream was to be loved. She was not dreaming of being a princess—that was too much for her to even conceive of. Her reason for going to the ball was to find a man who would love her. However, she was destined to find not just any man; her destiny was to marry the prince. The man that every other eligible female was dreaming of and conniving to get, was intended for her.

Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine…—Ephesians 3:20

As princess she would be loved and admired by not just a man, but also a nation. Just like with God, when He is looking for a princess, He goes to the scullery and sees in a servant girl the ability to rule a nation. If life has pressed you down, then you need to rejoice! If life has passed you by, then you need to rejoice! If you feel forgotten and unloved, then you need to rejoice! You are just the one God is looking for to change the world!

Sing, o barren woman, you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman… (Isaiah 54:1). Enlarge the place of your tent… (Isaiah 54:2) because God is looking for you.

Do Not Limit God

In Judges 4 Jael was a woman who was at home in her tent while the men of Israel were out fighting a battle against Sisera, the commander of the Canaanite army. God had promised to deliver Sisera into the hands of Barak, the leader of the Israelite army, but because of his unbelief, God delivered him instead into the hands of a woman. That woman was Jael. Jael was at home minding the house when, out of nowhere, Sisera arrives on foot to the door of her tent. She lured him into her tent to rest.

But Jael, Heber’s wife, picked up a tent peg and a hammer and went quietly to him while he lay fast asleep, exhausted. She drove the peg through his temple into the ground, and he died.—Judges 4:21

Jael was probably the last one that Barak considered would win the battle for Israel that day, but God chose her for that very reason. God was sending us a message: We cannot limit Him! He refuses to be put in a box! Tell Him He can’t do something and that is just what He will do. Give Him a desert and He’ll make a forest. Give Him a servant girl and He’ll make her a princess. Give Him a housewife and He’ll make her a warrior. Give Him your barrenness and He’ll make for you a great nation.

So that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the Lord has done this, the Holy One of Israel has created it.—Isaiah 41:20

This is God’s heart concerning us. He sees beyond our weaknesses and sees a mighty warrior. He calls those things that are not, as though they were. If you feel discarded by life, then rejoice, because God is looking for you! You are a perfect fit for His purpose.

In the story of Cinderella, after she runs away from the ball, everyone is looking for her. The highest officials in the kingdom, even the grand duke, were searching furiously for her. Who was she that the entire kingdom was looking for her? She was the perfect fit! She was the only one that fit the glass slipper.

And God says to you today: “You are the only one who can fill the ’shoes’ that I am preparing for you. You are what I’m looking for. You are what I need.”

More online…  See the potential God has put in you and step into it, you are the perfect fit for his plan and He longs to set you into your rightful place in His Kingdom.

What a powerful prophetic flow there was at the Glory School this weekend.  God really spoke a lot into the nation this weekend and the release of His presence and power was definitely very strong. It accomplished much in peoples lives, changing mindsets and lives as a result of their experiences with God and the life changing power of His Word. The students were hungry and pressed in to know God and many had wonderful life changing experiences. It’s interesting how multi-faceted God is and everyone’s experiences with Him show the personal touch of a loving Heavenly Father and were designed by God to touch areas of need, identity and purpose.

One of the things we encourage students to be diligent in is in validating their experience by scripture and the character and nature of God. The first testimony below is a great example of someone doing that.

  • “During one of the activations I saw huge (really huge) pillars. They looked translucent, a bit like bright cloud or smoke or something, but with more substance than cloud or smoke. As people worshipped, the pillars seemed to grow, it was like the worship was going up and becoming part of the pillars. At the top of the pillars was a massive canopy kind of thing that seemed to contain the whole universe. It was full of stars and whole galaxies, lots of colour and life. In the middle of it all between the pillars was God’s throne. It was absolutely massive and bright. God was sitting there but He was too big and too awesome to really see.  So this morning I woke up thinking about it and I asked God to show me more about what I had seen. The phrase “God is enthroned on the praises of His people” popped into my mind, so I looked up that verse. (Psalm 22:3). I also found an amazing verse (Isaiah 40:22) which is what I was seeing during the activation.  “He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in.” (NIV)  The most amazing thing about what I was seeing was the vastness and immensity of God and his throne. It made me feel really small, I’m not sure about grasshopper size, ant maybe. Seeing how people’s worship was forming the pillars was also amazing. That verse and the one in Psalms are cool verses, but actually seeing it is mind blowing. Normally I would have just read those verses quickly and not thought too much about them.”
  • There was one young man who got tickled and sat on by an angel. It had a huge impact on him regarding the reality of the love of God, supernatural realms and of angels.
  • Another man saw a vision in which during part of it he got wrestled by Jesus who told him that he (Jesus) was also his elder brother not just Lord and not to be so intense about life.
  • “I was in the throne room, I could feel waves of Gods glory and love washing over me. I saw Jesus, he was giving me something. I asked him what , he said wisdom. Afterward Jesus said “study Smith Wigglesworth, I am giving you similar faith”. I saw the sea of glass. God said “We’ve been waiting for you, it is so good to see you here.”
  • “God took me through a series of corridors past a large range of people. It then broke out into blueprints of buildings and then cities. The Lord then said he was giving me blueprints to take cities and was taking me to the nations.”
  • “Jesus sat and told me how much he was proud of me and that I had matured even though I kept looking at my flaws.”
  • “I saw myself sitting on the Fathers lap and He talked to me.”
  • “I have been going through a hard time – God showed me I was in a battle and then I saw myself in a chariot with him and He said we would win the battle, that he will be with me through it all enabling me and empowering me. I no longer dread what might come but am greatly encouraged and rather than hiding in fear I want the freedom that will come at the end of the battle.”

God is so big and able to do far beyond what we could ever dream, hope or even imagine. His love for us and His plan to bring us to maturity and wholeness are such that He overlooks no need however small we might think it is. He continues to challenge our small thinking regarding just who He is and what He is capable of and I for one hope He never stops challenging me to believe more, dare more, be more and keep on being changed into the image of Jesus.

An epicentre for a move of God – this is what Rob heard God say as we travelled down to Te Aroha to minister. The Baptist church there has been a church that has been hungering for and seeing the presence and power of God manifested in their midst over the last couple of years especially. Rob and I were privileged to be a part of that this last weekend. We were invited down to spend time with their music team and have some input into the area of prophetic worship. What we walked into was a powerful Kairos time in God – a moment where things shifted and changed in the spirit realm and something of God was released that will have ongoing repercussions, changing and affecting things in the natural realm. God turned up big time and His establishing power was released in prophetic words over individuals and the region.

The band of disciples in Te Aroha is full of passionate followers of Jesus and we loved being with them. Rob and I both felt so much at home with them as they carry the same heart for the nation as we do. It is wonderful to see the way that God is raising up groups of people and churches all around the nation that will settle for nothing less than more! More of God’s presence, more of His power, more of his love and are reaching out with that more to effect the communities they are living in. We look forward to working alongside them again soon.

God is not boring! I love that about Him (amongst other things). Every time we hold an Xtravagant Worship night we look forward to seeing what He will do and how He will reveal himself to us. As we were praying, in preparation for last night’s meeting, we felt God say a couple of things that came together like jigsaw pieces to form a clear picture. Even though we had a clear picture of what He wanted to do we had no idea how God would get us to that place in the meeting and quite what He would do when we got there.

As the intercessors prayed we saw rocks plugging up springs so that water could not flow freely. We felt that applied to both the nation and to people on a personal level. Then as Rob was praying he felt the Lord highlight the verses in Isaiah 61 that call us to be repairers of the breach and restorers of streets to dwell in, to repair the devastations of former generations. One of the things God showed him was that NZ is an ‘orphan nation’. It has lost touch with Father and as a result many of us live under the influence of an orphan spirit. This is what gives rise to much of the independence and loneliness in our lives and the feeling that we’ve got to ‘go it alone’.

We thought the evening would maybe take on a slightly more militant feel to it but God started to pour out His love and woo us in the most gentle way. There was the sweetest sense of the love of God there and it was out of that He started to break the bondage of the orphan spirit and minister to the generational breakdowns over families and individuals. So many people responded to the altar call it was huge and we had to get lots of help to pray for people. Then God started delivering people from generational curses and the restrictions of the enemy. God came and demons went and it was all done in the sweetest atmosphere of God’s love. So wonderful!

Then God led us into a time of interceding for the nation that the devastation of generations would be broken and we finished with the New Zealand national anthem and a shout of triumph over the nation. It was a powerful time!

Our monthly Xtravagant Worship night is being held tonight (Saturday Aug 1st).

These are not to be missed nights of prophetic worship and the presence and power of God being manifested in our midst. People regularly see visions and have heavenly encounters with the Father and Jesus. We have heard angels sing audibly on occasions, gold and sapphire dust come on people and the ground and oil appears on people’s hands. Supernatural winds blow, rainbows manifest and people get set free, healed, strengthened and encouraged. God gets honoured and released to be God among us.

Everytime is an adventure – we never know where God will lead us or quite what He’ll do. We do know He loves to come and manifest himself to His people in many different ways though. Why not come and find out for yourself what He is going to do tonight. It’s free and open to anyone.

Video Footage of the Day God Descended on Disneyland

“This is the best time I’ve ever had in Disneyland—ever! Jesus healed my back!”

Kids pray for a touch of the Holy SpiritWhile typical visitors to Disneyland in California may have been busy riding the plethora of attractions available in the Magic Kingdom, on June 11th, another Kingdom was making Its presence known.

Hannah Ford, of Bethel Church in Redding—with friends Jason Tax and Jason Chin—had lucked into free tickets to Disneyland, and decided to make themselves available for God to use them while they were there.

He apparently did.

In a previous story carried on Breaking Christian News, we reported how a prayer of healing for one young high school football player (who was touched immediately, and seemed to be completely healed) led to wave after wave of young people coming to the three for prayer, in the middle of Disneyland.

Now Hannah has posted more videos that chronicle the entire remarkable day of healings, salvations and Holy Spirit joy.

After a group prayer for salvation and invitation of the Holy Spirit, one young man told Hannah as she filmed, “This is the best time I’ve ever had in Disneyland—ever! …Jesus healed my back!”
